Chairman Hurriyat Conference ,Syed Ali Geelani while paying glorious tributes to Asiya and Nilofer, has called complete shutdown in district Shopian on 3oth May .Demanding the stern punishment to the guilty involved in Tabinda Gani murder case ,Syed Ali Geelani added that the tragedy that occurred in Shopian shacked the collective conscience of people of the valley. Syed Ali Geelani expressed his dismay and anguish over the way the case is being listed in court and said slow and snail's pace trial in Tabinda Gani case amounts to injustice and it has added miseries and pain to the effected family.....

While expressing its serious concern over the continuous detention of Syed Ali Geelani, Hurriyat conference said that puppet administration in its secret affair with indian home ministry in Delhi have virtually decided to restrict all movements of its leader ,yet the orders in this effect are not announced and added even the judicial institutions have failed to deliver any relief to its incarcerated leader .Friday in a statement ,lashing out and castigating at authorities ,spokesman Ayaz Akbar said, that since his arrival from Delhi, in March this year ,Syed Ali Geelani remains to be virtually in jail and a heavy contingent of police is keeping a continuous vigil and preventing the leader from his social, political and religious obligations.......
